I got a complement at church yesterday. From across the room a lady gave me the thumbs up on what appeared to be less of me. (I told her I was dieting.)
Evidently it was an optical illusion.
No pounds lost, no inches lost. None gained, either.
A new week today. I've been up since 5:30 and have done three loads of laundry, breakfast, and a little blogging. Perhaps its time to get the exercise in, too!

Three loads of laundry sounds like a full days work. JK, of course, but wouldn't want you to over do then be sore. Good luck with your venture. :)
Good for you sister! I didnt know people still woke up that early! (My Beau works nights)
Good job! I think cleaning definitely works off the pounds. (It always feels like it does anyway)
Packrat--I was BEHIND on the laundry, so the prospect of 3 loads getting caught up outweighed the soreness potential LOL! I always remind myself that a hundred years ago (or less) three loads of laundry would have been a WHOLE lot more work!
M--I wake up early because my son is a dyed-in-the-wool morning person. His father and I are NOT. I repeat. Not. Give me sunSETS any day over sunRISES!
Amanda--IMO, the movement of cleaning and other chores really should provide some physical benefit. I just get so bored walking back and forth, back and forth, even if it's a nice day. I just need to do MORE of it!
