I trust everyone had a wonderful holiday?
We had an AWESOME time with friends we haven't seen in 10 years. My son enjoyed their four children so much that he was making plans to go home with them. After they left it even felt kind of lonely in the house! (I checked and my son was still here.)
For supper we had leftovers. Very. Tasty. Leftovers. Topped off with ice cream for dessert. It wasn't no "bouillon bowl" size serving, either.
I've decided to ignore the Weigh-in for this week. I am positive that it would be pointless.
For lunch on Tuesday I incorporated the Memorial Day leftovers into portion-controlled servings. For tonight I'll try a new chicken recipe from my 1958 Guidebook, but the remaining dishes will be more leftovers. (I'll list the recipe and my comments tomorrow.)
The veggie medley I listed will be a mix of vidalia onions, zucchini, yellow squash, asparagus, and grape tomatoes. Roasted. A slice of butter and a little S&P on each serving. Oh-my-oh-my. Divine.
I will return to my exercise schedule on Wednesday.
We have a 3-day camping trip coming up this next weekend. I didn't have the heart to list "S'mores" and things like that. We'll be having them, but I just won't list them. Will the calories NOT count if I don't list them?
I thought not.
