Monday's Menu

I'm back on track this week. I've just come in from my exercise--mowing the lawn for 30 minutes. I'm going to quickly post today's menu below and then hop into the shower. Water has been consumed. Onward!

I will be cooking (after today) from my 1955 cookbook. Below I've put together three meals that are 50s inspired, but I want to try out some new recipes.

I've been posting about different sections from the "Gem of a Cookbook" on my homemaking blog. Click on the book cover in the sidebar or HERE to see what I've covered so far.

MONDAY:

Breakfast:

Scrambled egg sandwich
Pineapple juice

Lunch:

Grilled cheese sandwich
Citrus fruit salad with coconut

Dinner:

Pan fried ham steak
Baked sweet potatoes
Green beans
Chocolate pudding
