Boarding the wagon...again.

My last post was five months ago. I have not lost any weight. I have not gained any weight.

I've decided to try it again.

When I followed this diet, it was fun. It worked. It's when I fell OFF the wagon that things didn't work. Imagine that.

So, I've appealed to Ida Jean and Mildred and asked their forgiveness. They said they would take me back again.

Later today I will post the week's menus and my numbers. I will need encouragement, ladies. Perhaps even some straight talk with no punches held. THERE IS NO REASON I CAN'T DO THIS!

So, it's time. Again.

I am so glad that Misses Ida Jean and Mildred forgave you. Now can you forgive yourself? Once the weather gets nicer, it will be easier. Being cooped up inside does not help at all.

Maybe we can do this. I lost 27 pounds, then went on an eating "binge" (not really, but I started going back for seconds). Now, I'm afraid to get on the scales.

I think I've forgiven myself. I know that I'm done with all the whining, wailing and gnashing of teeth LOL!

I feel a difference this time. I was so miserable last night. Nothing fits.

Here's a sad moment for me: Last week I went to see the baby our "roofer's" wife had. He was almost exactly the same size J was when he was born. I was sitting on the couch holding him and I was so uncomfortable with the weight that was between me and that sweet baby!

Last night was the final straw for me!

I'm so glad you are bringing this blog back! I love reading all the old recipes and your comments about how well they go over (of course we all know liver should be outlawed;)

I wish you the best of success,

Trixie

Okay, we HAVE to do this. Can't be uncomfortable when holding a baby. :D

The scales "say" that I've gained back 7 pounds. Not good. (The sad thing is that I can't even tell that I lost the first twenty.)

My mini goal: Lose that 7 pounds again.

Other goals:
Eat until just full and stop.
No second helpings.
I will eat a small treat every day so that I don't binge.
I will watch my fat intake.
I will try to eat more fruit and/or drink more fruit juice.

Trixie--Liver? You mean you don't love liver? HA!

Get this--my son wants to try the stuff. My husband will eat it. They're also the ones who voted for prune pie. They're also both in perfect shape.

A connection? Nah!

Packrat--Let's do it! Your plan sounds solid. Will you report in on your blog, or on this one? Let me know so I can cheer you on!
